Sharone Lifschitz

In 2004 Lifschitz placed an ad in German newspapers: "Young Jewish woman visiting Germany would like to have a conversation about nothing in particular with anyone reading this." She met with forty-five people who responded, documenting the various encounters and transcripting their conversations. These conversations provided the material for posters and billboards that Lifschitz placed in prominent locations throughout Munich in 2007 and a commision for a permanent installation on the façade of the Jewish Museum's exterior.
